Open Roads

Driving on open roads is fun, but commuting in traffic is soul-destroying. Traffic is like a gas: it expands to fill the space available.Therefore NSW will build no more new road capacity. The RTA will continue to maintain and upgrade existing roads - for safety and amenity. At the same time we will endeavour to not only maintain traffic flows on roads, but progressively reduce them so that they become safer and more pleasant to travel on for cars, light vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.This…See More

What is to be done?

You may have noticed that in my last post I omitted a definition of "the right decision". That's probably not helpful, so I'll try to do so here.



We all have some ideas that are based on deeply held philosophical positions, which people like to put into boxes called Liberal, Conservative, Libertarian or whatever.
